Hmmm, I know I have been very hard towards my favorite IPL team, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). But all those harsh words and my anger has been washed away clean by this last match against Rajasthan Royals (RR). Despite RR scoring more than 200 runs in 20 overs, CSK played brilliantly. Unfortunately, CSK was unable to win the match but gave a good fight and fought until the last ball. I also felt there was a bit of unlucky factor in CSK innings and they lost the match by just 10 runs!
Now CSK has one more match to go against Deccan Chargers. Again, this is a crucial match which may enable CSK to secure a spot in the semi-finals. And again, if Mumbai Indians (MI) beat Delhi Daredevils (DD) (who are playing their last game) then it would automatically confirm CSK spot in semi’s. I sincerely hope MI win the match and CSK beat DC in their final match.
Right now, MI are put to bat and Sachin and Jayasuriya are looking good. Go MI go!…
On a separate note, we played our first match in the Seven star cricket tournament and lost. Our first opponent Sathyam played well but I felt that we gifted them many runs including upto 20 runs in byes (my worst performance so far behind the wickets). But we are not worried, we are looking forward towards the next game and we are confident that we will win the remaining two matches. I will update more on that after our next match as well.
