A little history to begin with …
This blog came into existence in 2005 when I started blogging using Blogger.com. Back then it was the ‘new thing’ to do. I love to write and this presented me a good opportunity to hone my writing skills. I generally started blogging about things I encountered day-to-day life (which I still do) and slowly started blogging about technology, politics and more. Then I came across WordPress.com. I was instantly mesmerized by the presentation and the ability with which you can blog. Plus add-ons for WordPress blogging nudged me to moving my account from Blogger.com to WordPress.com.
Then in 2006-07 I decided to have a website on my own and maintain it. That is how ‘Karthiverse’ came to be. Since its inception, I have been blogging on and off. I faced many problems including some amateur hacker defacing my site and had to re-build everything including shifting of my hosting provider. After shifting to WordPress, I have been tweaking and tuning my site for so long, that I just didn’t find time to blog! (the primary reason for this blog to exist!)
So I have decided to just start blogging and stop focusing on the ‘site’ itself. So you may find some interesting posts (or not!) here. Feel free to browse through and if you have any comments, do drop in. I will be happy to hear from you.
